Our electrical division has developed rapidly over the last few years in line with our own continued expansion and diversification and the ever increasing sophistication of electrical systems.

Operating either in conjunction with our other services, or in a stand alone capacity, this division now undertakes a very wide range of specialist electrical engineering, contract installation and maintenance operations and is widely recognised for the high quality and consistency of its work.

We are approved installers for Scottish Hydro Electric and handle a variety of domestic and industrial contracts.

We are also retained by several major companies and organisations to carry out all their specialist electrical work. Typically this might include activities such as the installation of a new control and distribution panel, as in the case shown; the installation and commissioning of a variety of industrial heating systems, such as the burners at the base of the large, new grain dryer we were erecting, as shown, and the operation of a customised service and maintenance programme.

We also specialise in industrial process control units and we are the sole Scottish distributors for a number of control systems, including the unique UNICO range of motor controls and phase converters.

Edwards Engineering now work in close partnership with UNICO to offer a comprehensive service for the design and installation of motor control systems for production line monitoring and precision materials handling.
